IMage: Welcome to St. Thomas Aquinas Church

If you are new to the community, Welcome! We are grateful to the Lord for your presence with us and look forward to including you in all areas of our life together. Please take a moment to fill out a registration card – they are in the foyers of the Chapel and Student Center – and introduce yourself to one of the priests, the members of the Parish Council, or the liturgical ministers. If you are not registered, it is more difficult to provide documentation such as a certificate for sponsoring a child for Baptism or Confirmation, or to arrange for a wedding here. So, please register.

“There are different kinds of spiritual gifts but the same Spirit; there are different forms of service but the same Lord; there are different workings but the same God who produces all of them in everyone.” 1 Corinthians 12:4-6

The Spirit gives each of us different gifts. The reason we are given those gifts is so that we may perform different forms of service for the Lord. If you don’t use your gifts for the Lord, who will do the special work that God had in mind for you alone?

Prayer for Pastoral Council Selections

“Lord, we did not choose to be your disciples and apostles. You chose us: and named us to bear fruit. Send us your Spirit and guide the appointment of new members of our Pastoral Council so that our community of St. Thomas Aquinas may grow in wisdom courage and faith.”

Winner's Circle - are you "in" yet?

Our first monthly round of winners has been chosen. Are you in line for the May drawing - remember, "if you don't play you can't win." A modest donation of $5 per month puts you in the running and will help this Fund-Raising effort reach its two goals: providing needed support for our building repair expenses and creating happy winners. Membership forms are at all our doors, the Parish Office, available from K of C members and Frank Perrotti. idate.

Our Own Bob Tierney

He is still in the Hospital and would love to hear from you. You can send him an electronic get well card if you like - go to www.stfranciscare.org and then click on "e-mail a patient" in the column on the right of the page. Thanks, Lisa
