Gerard McKeon, S.J.

Campus Minister
Gerard McKeon, S.J. entered the Society of Jesus a few months after graduating
as a philosophy major from Holy Cross College in 1976. Fr. McKeon holds a Masters
of Divinity from Weston Jesuit School of Theology, a M.A. in Philosophy from
Gonzaga University, and a CAES (Religious Education) degree from Boston College
Institute of Religious Education and Pastoral Ministry.
He comes to St. Thomas after completing four years in the Chaplains' Office at Holy Cross College. Fr. McKeon also served in Kingston, Jamaica for eight years. During this time he worked as a Chaplain and a Religious Educator at St. George's College, and he assisted in Laity and Deacon formation for the Archdiocese of Kingston. In the early 90's, he served on the staff of Eastern Point Retreat House, Gloucester, MA., where he offered Spiritual Direction and directed retreats based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola. |
