Should someone be in need of an emergency anointing, please call (860) 336-9179. If the emergency is at the hospital/emergency room, please have the hospital call us at this same number.

Mass Intentions
There is an ancient and honorable custom of requesting special remembrances for the dead or for the intentions of the living at Mass. These intentions are listed in the bulletin and included in the prayers offered. In the early church the donor might provide the bread and wine used. Today's financial donation of $10.00 similarly helps support the parish. Arrangements for Mass intentions may be made by calling Lisa Wild-Cornell, at (860)429-6436. Thank you, Fr. Gregoryl.

Fund Raising Activities
Our Finance Council has reinstated our former parish policy of limiting the scheduling of parish-based fundraising activities to one per month. Approval for any fund-raiser at St. Thomas needs to be cleared through the Finance Council in advance. While some exceptions to the monthly rule might arise, the idea is to respect people's own budgetary needs and avoid the situation of multiple requests for support within a short time. A copy of the guidelines is being sent to each ministry and is available in the Parish Office

Let Us Know
If you have suffered a death in the family outside of the parish, please let the Grief Ministry know about it. We will acknowledge your loss in the bulletin and would like to present you with a prayer shawl is you so wish, Contact: Pat McHugh at (860)429-7618, Kathy McKee at (860)423-0743, Sue Lund at (860)487-0520, Susan or Peter Salesses at (860)429-8111, or Fr. John at (860)429-6436, ext. 205.

Room Reservations
At times this can be a busy place. We have a procedure for reserving space for regular meetings or special events that helps us avoid conflicts whenever possible and allows our limited staff to arrange tables, chairs and equipment as needed. To reserve a space in the Aquinas Center, you need to file a request form with Lisa Wild-Cornell two weeks in advance of your need. Lisa makes sure the space is available and set-up can be done as you wish. We also check the overall parish calendar to avoid conflicts. These forms are available in the Parish Office. To be fair to all parties, we have to adhere to this policy. A phone call to Lisa can tell you if the room you want is free, but no reservations can be made until the completed form is filed. Thanks for your help in making life easier for everyone!  Fr. Gregory

Bulletin Rack
In the Center lobby, we've put up a rack for the bulletins of the previous three weeks. If you are at mass elsewhere you can get a copy of the bulletin you missed.

Grounds Or Maintenance Issues
Parishioners often notice facilities or equipment in need of repair or replacement. Rather than entrust that information to the faulty memory (+ incompetence!) of the pastoral staff, we have created a simple form which can be filled out and left with Joanne. She'll direct the information to the appropriate responder. Forms are in the Chapel Foyer or Center Lobby. Thank you for your care for our property.

Important Announcements!
All Parish committee mailboxes are now located in the Aquinas Center.

If you need a key to the Parish Center for the weekend please contact the Parish Secretary to pick up ahead of time. Any questions please contact Lisa Wild-Cornell at ext. 201
